After providing for your loved ones, a gift in your will to Leeds Hospitals Charity is another way of showing how much you care – because small or large, your gift will help to improve health and wellbeing for your family and everyone in Leeds, across Yorkshire and beyond.
Many of the gifts they receive are from people who want to ‘give something back’ to the hospital out of gratitude for the care and support they may have received or to say thank you for the care of a loved one.
It is important that the charity can ensure funds are used where the need is greatest and work closely with their NHS colleagues to fund the projects that will have the biggest impact on health and wellbeing. You can help enable this by giving your gift to be used wherever the need is greatest.
There's no obligation to leave a gift to Leeds Hospitals Charity in your free will, but any amount you may decide to leave will make a huge difference for future patients and their families.
How to make your Will For Good
1. Complete our online interview
The questions we ask help you gather all the information required to make your will quickly. It takes around 20 minutes and our team is online to help.
2. Get advice from an accredited firm
When you've completed the interview, we arrange a 30 minute appointment with a legal firm. Choose phone or video call, your home or their office.
3. Sign and witness your will
After your appointment, the legal firm sends you your free Will For Good. Just sign it in front of witnesses and return to the firm for free secure storage.
Legal advice with Will For Good
Our accredited legal firms donate up to 30 minutes of their expertise to help you make your free Will For Good. For most people, that will be all they need.
If you have complex family circumstances, multiple properties, business assets or foreign property, you will need to pay for additional advice. Where that is the case, the firm will provide you with a quote. It's up to you whether to accept.
