Bequeathed for the Landmark Trust

Landmark Trust

Since 1965, the Landmark Trust has rescued over 200 extraordinary historic buildings from dereliction, offering them as places to stay for self-catering holidays. This vibrant new use provides unforgettable experiences, and an income to ensure they will never again fall into decay.

Buildings already saved include picturesque pavilions and medieval long-houses, forts and follies, clan chiefs’ castles and cotton weavers’ cottages, the homes of great writers and the creations of great architects.

With over 10,000 listed buildings designated ‘at risk’ in Britain, we turn down many each year simply because we do not have the funds to intervene.

We receive no government funding and have no endowment, depending instead on the generosity of individual supporters to fund each new rescue.

Together, we can help preserve these remarkable buildings and ensure the traditional skills needed to care for them are kept alive.

Every gift in a will - large or small - is greatly valued and makes a vital difference to our work.

Your legacy will help us to ensure our rich architectural heritage thrives.
