Bequeathed for SSAFA

SSAFA

Since our establishment in 1885, The Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA) had supported generations of men and women serving in our Armed Forces, veterans and their families.

Every year, we help thousands of people from military backgrounds to get back on their feet.  Our work ranges from providing social welfare support for those serving on the frontline, helping severely wounded personnel live with and adapt to their injuries, and supporting military families with adoption, children with illnesses, disabilities or special needs.  Our practical, emotional and financial support for those who are struggling includes arranging counselling for all health issues, helping with housing, and mentoring those who need support into sustained employment.

Your primary concern in making a Will must be to make sure that your family and loved ones are properly cared for.  By using Bequeathed, you will be under no obligation to consider including SSAFA in your Will.

But, if you are in a position to leave us a gift in your Will, your legacy will continue to provide help for those people who need our helping hand; to lead independent lives with dignity; to remind them that their service to our nation will not be forgotten. Your gift to SSAFA, however large or small will matter. The legacies we receive represent over one quarter of all our annual voluntary donations and we could not do our work without that support.

Your legacy will make a difference to this and future generations of men and women who will proudly put on a uniform to serve our country, by ensuring that SSAFA is able to continue providing that life-changing support that so many may need to depend on.
