He developed the concept of Bequeathed while working for the acquirers of his first legal software business. A change in strategy at the private equity company allowed him to buy back the wills IP to launch Bequeathed.
Pier is a chartered accountant and experienced FD. Pier has led finance in many businesses and was a NED at an acute NHS Trust.
Editor and Publisher of Halsbury’s Laws of England, Laws of Scotland and other major legal texts at LexisNexis for 27 years Simon is responsible for writing and editing the wills content. He is an affiliate of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners
A law graduate and IT professional, Rupert combines experience of delivering online legal services, digital communications and working in the third sector. Before joining Bequeathed he worked in digital communications for the British Heart Foundation.
Crispin is a B2B marketing expert with significant legal industry experience. He worked with Jon Brewer at LexisNexis, helping create the positioning and naming of LexisPSL. He has advised charities on brand, positioning and fundraising.
Emma has 13 years of fundraising experience with CRUK, The Salvation Army, Mencap and most recently heading up the team at British Red Cross, so she has expert insight into the sector we serve. She loved working with Bequeathed when on the charity side – and that's why she joined us.
David has nearly two decades of experience in business development and account management, mostly at the Law Society. He has extensive knowledge of marketing in both the charity and legal sectors. He is also Co-Chair Legacy & In Memory Special Interest Group at the Institute of Fundraising.
Lex has more than 20 years fundraising experience working at RNIB, British Red Cross and CRUK. She started Legacy Liverpool, a charity consortium and campaign to raise awareness across Liverpool of leaving a gift in your will to a local charity.
